Our featured Speaker at this month's Campus Council Meeting is Bob Gedert, one of the recycling industry’s pioneers. Bob, a recycling consultant for forty-five years has guided communities across the country toward sustainable materials management. His leadership in national organizations is unparalleled.
At this month's meeting, Bob will be presenting about his recently published book: Untangling Plastics: The Missing Link in Mitigating Climate Change. Currently, Bob teaches classes on climate change at Xavier University, where he is routinely engaged with student enthusiasm. While well-placed, he has found that the research is weak on innovative actions that college students can engage in. Now, the public is invited to see his information, hear his insights, and engage him in discussion.
