Focus for 2026!
This year the NRC has a host of activities focused on our strategic plan
- Build stronger relationships with all affiliated State Recycling Organizations
- Build strong stakeholder partnerships
- Promote as the National Partner- the Zero Waste Forum April 21-23 2026- Earth Day event!
- Plan for the National Recycling Congress Feb 2027 in Puerto Rico
- take the Plastic Policy subcommittee work to its next phase of stakeholder engagement and evaluation
- Hire a Communications Director
- Produce a Workshop series
- Collaborate with Pennsylvania Markets Center to develop monthly webinars
- Continue to explore funding opportunities, policy developments, news, and events that support the Coalition
- Bringing forward the Campus Council front and center to expand the reach to higher education in recycling, sustainability, and succession
- Recycling Organization Council ROC; First Friday of each month to include networking, SRO management focus, topics and subject matter expert presentations
